Somatic Senses: Class 5 Taste

Connect to your body and life through taste!

This is a fantastic sense to help you slow down, and really focus on what you are doing. When you grab a burrito and eat as you are running errands or mindlessly snack while zoning in front of the tv, you are not actually focused on flavors of what you eat. When you take the time to actually honor and focus on this sense, you have no choice but to pause and pay attention. It is more difficult to master than you think, but when you can do this you will notice a change almost immediately. You will see how your entire system slows down, you become more present in your body and will then be more aware of other senses.

This is also the final video in this series. How do you feel? I encourage you today and over the next few days to reflect and feel in your body what has changed, how thoughts and habits may be changing. Try your best to check in with your senses from here on out, and love the senses you have been blessed with!
